It is an incredibly busy hospital, owing possibly to the proximity of Heathrow Airport.

Brief Scope of Works: Generally works comprised enabling works, construction works (forming new LV Switchboard), cable containment and associated Supports, new lighting and power. Also, the supply and installation of the new LV Switchboard SS2/TX2, new HV Cabling to/from RMU/Transformer SS2/TX2, new LV Cabling for SS2/TX2 RMU/Transformer, new Earthing System, new DC Cabling to/from Existing DC System, testing and commissioning, removal of old Switchboard, painting and decorating, fire suppression, provision of O & M Manuals, safety signage and Schematics in the Switchroom.
With the exception of the fire suppression works, which were subcontracted to a specialist contractor, Metricab carried out all electrical, mechanical, building and civil works in-house.
