Brief Scope of Works:
Phase 1 of the works comprised the installation of a temporary 3MVA electricity supply, consisting of the provision of 2 No. 11kV Ring Main Units (RMUs) and all related cabling back into the Distribution Network Operator’s local network, and the route work and cables into the client’s intake switchboard, adopted on completion by Southern Electric Power Distribution.
Phase 2 of the works comprised the supply and installation of single core 33kV aluminium feeder cables from the DNO Point of Connection at their Primary Substation, along a 5.4km underground cable route, travelling through public and privately owned land and highways, involving extensive excavations and directional drilling. Also, the provision of 2 No. 18MVA 33kV to 11kV Transformers with associated 11kV Switchgear and Controls, and all associated civil and building works to complete the construction of a new Substation on the clients property, adopted on completion by Southern Electric Power Distribution.
The preparation of all paperwork to ensure compliance with CDM regulations, preparation of working and as fitted drawings O&M manuals, site supervision and project management.
